Happy New Year to everyone who visits Saltus Grammar School’s new website and finds themselves reading this blog. Whether you are visiting the website for the first time to discover what makes the Saltus education experience so unique or visiting it as a current student, parent or alumnus, stop here, “HEADlines”, to get an insider’s viewpoint on important issues.
Parents seldom hear the Headmaster’s remarks at assemblies or Saltus Association meetings. Taking a few minutes to check out my discrete entries on this blog may help you understand the nature of the special education that your sons and daughters are receiving at Saltus. You will also have the chance to respond to some of the assertions that I make. Periodically, the Senior Management Team will provide commentary on some phenomenon that is happening at Saltus.
For example, did you know that the students and staff just selected a school mascot, a KNIGHT, who will be named soon. His armour has already been ordered and is on its way from Canada. Saltus’ Knight will frequent all sports events and attend important school activities, like the Saltus to Saltus Walk/Run and Founder’s Day.
